As we continue our congregational commitment to our History Project that was started several years ago, I wish to express deep appreciation for what has been accomplished thus far.  On behalf of the General Council, I invite you to continue using the printed booklets entitled History Notes, Parts I, II, and III which were sent to each local community. Part IV, which will consider the years from 1962 to 1993, will soon be printed. This project is posted on the ssmhistorynotes web page.

It is the Lord of History who has entrusted us with a small part of his plan of salvation and, for this, I am truly grateful.  I pray, asking Him to continue to bless us and to bless those who have preceded us, with everlasting joy and peace.
